Dave's Run-Off is the result of some serious digging to help create water drainage from the driveway. This was especially necessary prior to formal work on the driveway in 2005, but the run-off remains a crucial component in keeping the driveway usable throughout the year. The run-off has several small cascades on the way into the CLT valley. Water from the run-off currently pools in a low area before seeping into the Cisco.

When the driveway improvements were done in the fall of 2015, Dave's run-off was widened and a culvert added to the always pesky end of the driveway. It now carves a path to the valley, where it seeps out through a field of rocks on the Cisco shore.
