FISH AND REPTILES
With plenty of wet weather, seasonal streams and the Cisco Branch at its heart, CLT has a favorable climate for fish and reptiles. Although the shallow river makes for relatively poor fishing in the summer, the early spring and late fall see increased fish populations. The unique combination of the river and freshwater aquifer attract and support a terrific variety of amphibians, water insects, fish and reptiles.
